It is the final moments in the Apple and Samsung trial before judgment goes to jury. In these final moments, both Apple and Samsung have presented their closing argument.

Last week Judge Lucy Koh asked Apple and Samsung to meet and make a final attempt to settle. Each side’s attorneys promised to ensure a meeting, and they held to that promise with no avail.

As Samsung rested its case today, a demand for up to $422 million came from the manufacturer for infringements on some of its own patents.

While some may believe that Samsung blatantly ripped off Apple design, one expert argues that the design shouldn’t be protected to begin with.
