That’s right, close to 30% of Android users switched to buy an iPhone during the Q4 run according to CEO Tim Cook on Tuesday. This is by far the highest ratio that Apple has recorded in a single three-month span.
Apple reported a record quarter on Tuesday, earning $51.5 billion in revenue and $11.1 billion in net profit on sales of 48 million iPhones. Tim Cook emailed Apple staff on the 4th, which marks the passing of Steve Jobs, thanking them for remembering who Jobs was and what he stood for. Cook had noted that Jobs was a brilliant person who left an incredible legacy, according to Apple’s memorial page.
